THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE PAINTBALL

THE LEGAL STUFF

 

All players must be 16 or older and all participants must bring a valid ID.

 

Any player under 18 (and still over 16) will require a separate waiver to be filled out, please ask staff for the junior waiver.

In Tasmania, paintball guns are registered firearms, so we cannot allow anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol to participate in paintball activities. The limit is 0.00 BAC

 

All players must fill out and sign a waiver and indemnity form

 

GAME RULES + LAWFUL PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

  1. All lawful instructions of referees and Hobart Paintball Staff must be followed at all times.

  2. Hobart Paintball, it’s staff, referees or agents will not and does not accept any liability whatsoever in respect to any personal injury, losses or damages including; but not limited to, death.

  3. All players must submit a valid ID to be held by staff whilst handling paintball markers/guns.

  4. All players must wear approved paintball safety equipment. Any personally owned paintball safety equipment must be submitted to Hobart Paintball staff for inspection before use.

  5. Protective clothing must remain on at all times unless instructed otherwise by Hobart Paintball staff.

  6. Players must ensure barrel blocking devices/barrel bags; as provided, remain correctly fitted over the barrel at all times whilst not actively in game play.

  7. Only remove barrel blocking device/barrel bag when instructed to do so by a Hobart Paintball staff member or referee.

  8. All persons must observe and obey all safety signs in addition to the rules outlined in this document.

  9. No physical contact is to be made between people during game play.

  10. No player is permitted to fire at another player within a distance of 5 metres.

  11. No player shall deliberately shoot at any persons face or head that is not covered by a protective mask.

  12. No player is permitted to dry fire their gun outside of game time. 

  13. No smoking is not permitted within the venue. Smoking is permitted in the car park, at least 5 metres away from the toilet block.

  14. No player is to be under the influence of alcohol, 0.00 BAC it’s the law.

  15. No person is to be under the influence of illicit substances.

  16. All players must be 16 years of age or older

  17. Any player under 18 and over 16 will require parent or guardian consent.

  18. Theft of any items, whether a customer’s property or property of Hobart Paintball will not be tolerated.

  19. Any breakage or loss of Hobart Paintball equipment will be charge to me at cost price.

  20. Hobart Paintball staff and referees may take photos and videos of customers whilst within Hobart Paintball property boundaries and I consent to their distribution for the purposes of marketing.

  21. When filling out your personal information, you are doing so for a legally binding document, supplying false or misleading information is against the law.

  22. Any personal information supplied to Hobart Paintball is kept on record and is not shared with third parties, with the following exceptions; may be supplied to the police in the event of an offence being committed at Hobart Paintball; may be supplied to a lawyer for the purpose of legal proceedings

  23. Hobart Paintball staff and referees will not tolerate discriminatory, offensive, threatening, dangerous or violent behaviours or any other behaviour considered to be unacceptable.

  24. Hobart Paintball reserves the right to remove immediately from the field or venue any person or group; partially or wholly, who in the opinion of Hobart Paintball staff or referees has breached any of these rules.

  25. No agent, servant, staff or representative of Hobart Paintball has the authority to alter, modify or waive any of the above terms and conditions.

  26. By participating you acknowledge and accept the following

  27. You have read all of the rules, terms and conditions above

  28. You understand that there are risks involved including possible injury. You nevertheless accept and assume such risks.

  29. You agree to be responsible for the cost of breakages or loss of equipment and any other monies owed.

  30. You are making a free and fully informed decision and give consent to participate in paintball actives at Hobart Paintball.

  31. You indemnify and shall keep indemnified Hobart Paintball, its officers, staff, agents and contractors against injury, loss or damage suffered by me or for which I might otherwise be responsible.

  32. You are not a proscribed person and have not had a ruling in relation to a drug, alcohol or violence related crime in the past 5 years
